Media & Events coordinator

We are looking for a driven and independent individual to work as our Media & Events Coordinator. He or she will assist the Director of Marketing and the marketing team as a whole in an effective and successful implementation of media communications and event activities. Additionally, this position will serve as an external promotional staff member at events and races.  


  • Assist media with interview requests, schedule rides for editorial and review, and provide supporting information about Alta Motors and the Redshift
  • Build and maintain contact list for endemic and non-endemic media
  • Distribute company press releases and report on metrics
  • Convey all Alta Motors & Redshift Marketing messages in a positive and compelling manner
  • Maintain knowledge of all Alta Motors & Redshift product features and benefits
  • Support and assist sales-based events including but not limited to tradeshows, dealer events and demo days
  • Accountable for delivering event reports for inter-department communication of company-sponsored activations
  • Represent Alta Motors in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner in the field with journalists, dealer staff, and customers
  • Manage the field marketing budget and deliverables
  • Create executive summaries on all activities on a monthly basis


  • BA / BS degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business or Psychology
  • 2 – 5 years of field marketing, media or agency experience preferred
  • Must be take ownership of the brand, product and company initiatives
  • Must be self-directed and able to work with limited supervision
  • Must be able to travel alone over extended periods and weekends. 
  • Must be able to manage heavy travel requirements with in-house duties
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, maintain attention to detail and recognize time constraints
  • Proficient in documentation, record keeping, and presentations

Additional Requirements:

  • Clean driver’s license and the ability to drive long distances in support of job responsibilities
  • Industry-specific knowledge and proficient riding skills pertaining to motocross, trail, and street disciplines are highly desirable
